Coopchebi Cooperative, founded in 2003, is a collective of 140+ Yanesha and Asháninka Indigenous families in Peru's Chanchamayo Province. Together they preserve ancestral farming practices, fund education, and protect 94% of their forested land from development. At elevations up to 1,800 meters, the slow-maturing Gesha cherries develop notes of jasmine, verbena, maple syrup, and apricot.
The Gesha varietal behind Sagrada Harvest traces back to Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda — one of the most celebrated Gesha terroirs in the world. In 2015, seed stock was introduced to the Coopchebi nursery in Peru, where it now thrives at elevation in the Selva Alta.
Hand Harvest, fully washed, 48-hour fermentation, dried on raised African beds under parabolic greenhouses (10.5% moisture)

WHAT YOU TASTE
A delicate, tea-like cup - jasmine and verbena on the nose, maple syrup and apricot through the middle, sweet lemon and green acacia wood on the finish. Soft cocoa underneath. Light, silky, and aromatic.
WHY IT TASTES THAT WAY
Gesha beans traced to Panama's Hacienda La Esmeralda, grown at 1,600–1,800 meters in Peru's Selva Alta under native shade trees. Slow-maturing at elevation and cultivated in biodiverse agroforestry systems — the cup's complexity comes from the land itself.
HOW IT'S MADE
Hand-harvested, fully washed, 48-hour fermentation, sun-dried on raised beds. Medium-roasted in Tamboril, DR, to preserve the Gesha's floral delicacy.
The Coopchebi Cooperative is 140+ Yanesha and Asháninka families working collectively in the Peruvian Amazon — preserving ancestral farming practices, funding education, and protecting 94% of their forested land from development. Every bag of Sagrada Harvest directly supports their work.
